Bhangra is the vibrant folk dance of Punjab, born in the fields during the Vaisakhi harvest festival and powered by the thunderous beat of the dhol drum. Known for its explosive jumps, shoulder shrugs, and infectious energy, Bhangra has grown from a village celebration into a global phenomenon — performed everywhere from wedding sangeets to international dance competitions.

Now, Groove Galaxy (G2) Dance Studio brings Bhangra dance classes to Mechanicsburg's kids (Age 5–16)! Led by instructor Sunny Sidhu, students learn authentic Bhangra steps from the basics up, then put them together into fun, high-energy routines set to the dhol beat — building confidence, strength, and a love of Punjabi culture along the way. Weekly classes are already underway and only a few spots remain. No experience needed, and your first class is complimentary — no cost, no commitment.
